NFL Sets Limits on Web Content: The camel attempts to stick his nose into the tent. After MLB tried to limit the use of statistics in fantasy leagues, now the NFL wants to limit the content that newspapers may use on their web sports coverage. Will they get away with it? How far will this go? (Posted to "football" only because there's no category for "media".)

Going for Broke. In one way, there's a lot of people saying, 'You can't do this. You can't run in NASCAR. You can't get that money; you don't have that money.' But, look, I know I don't have the money, but I've got the gumption, and I've got the chutzpah. I've got the grit, and I know that I can pull this off." Milburn doesn't have a sponsor—a few here and there, sure, but nothing bigger than The Electric Light & Power Company, a local film-equipment rental house, and Reverend Horton Heat.

Tony Stewart Likens NASCAR to Pro Wrestling "I guess NASCAR thinks 'Hey, wrestling worked, and it was for the most part staged, so I guess it's going to work in racing, too,'" he said on his radio show. "I can't understand how long the fans are going to let NASCAR treat them like they're stupid before the fans finally turn on NASCAR."

The 'Next Jeff Gordon' Begins His NASCAR Career When they asked NASCAR driver Mark Martin in 2005 who he'd pick as his replacement at Roush Racing, his answer was quick: Joey Logano. "I would put him in that car in a heartbeat," Martin said, naming a 14-year-old who wasn't even old enough to be allowed to race at the top level yet. "I'm telling you, he's ready. He's good enough to do it." Logano, now 16 (but still only 5-foot-7 and 112 pounds), begins his NASCAR career in Phoenix Thursday.
