The Road to Canton Does Not Pass Through Denver The Denver Broncos have been to six Super Bowls but have only one Hall of Fame member in quarterback John Elway, as Broncos great Floyd Little laments. Other franchises outside the hall are the Falcons, Jaguars, Panthers and Ravens (zero members) and the Bengals, Buccaneers, Saints and Seahawks (one each).

Sports Illustrated's All-Time All-Star Team
Their choices for 25 players (seven starting pitchers, two relievers, two catchers, seven infielders and seven outfielders), one manager and two coaches in building an team from the history of baseball. I'm sure that no one will have a problem with their selections...

personally i think SI did the best job they could, i mean theres so many great players, some were bound to get overlooked. something in there that i was really happy with was they stuck to the stats. Sure Pujols is fantastic now, but what if pitchers start to figure him out in two years, what if he rips that oblique that always seems to trouble him and retires?? Si took the players who showed the best talent, but also didnt pick a lot of todays players for fear of a 'ryan leaf' type incident. It was in my opinion, a fantastic list.
Much Adu about Reading? 17-year-old soccer prodigy Freddie Adu is rumored to be going on loan to Reading in January. Current team DC United denies it. I think it'll be a good move for Freddie: Relatively low-profile team will allow him playing time at the top levels without too much (once again, it's relative to say, joining Chelsea or Arsenal, etc.) attention. He has yet to be tested in the toughest league, and he's done well to resist earlier offers from the likes of Man U and Milan, but he's old enough now, and he's had a nice warm-up in the MLS. But it's time to move on. Your thoughts?

He has yet to be tested in the toughest league You mean he has yet to be tested in Primera Divisin de La Liga? no we dont mean la liga .... because the epl and the former serie a are much the superior to that , why they are neamed the best league in the world, we may never know
Barry Bonds ruined baseball with one swing ... he is the person i would have least liked to see break baseballs most historic and respected record. he is a cheater that will now be glorified. all of you san francisco fans dont be blinded, your team is in last, have a little character. everyone else push and write and yell and scream until you get an asterisk.
