Sports Bio

Attending the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. In a word "AWESOME". Sitting in the 10th row at the finish line of the 200 meters when Michael Johnson ran 19.32 to set a new world record was the best. When it comes to what team I'm attached to....well I live and die with the 49er's. I've been doing a lot of dieing lately. But there's hope. We're having our turn in the barrel but we'll be back some day. (Hopefully soon)

Warriors back in playoff run after 12 years of not making the cut. Chris Mullin was on the Golden State Warriors' last playoff team, and he's the architect of the current club's return to the playoffs after a 12-year absence.

I know today is "420" but what have you guys been smoking? True, it's not likely that the Warriors will when this series but you can't totally write them off. After all they have beaten the Mavs 6 out of the last 7 games they've met. I believe they are something like 7 of 9 over the last 2 years. As far as the big trade goes, I see the Pacers, who were 20 & 19 when the trade was made, is not in the play offs. Go figure. I'm predicting that the series will go at least 6 games and who knows, it could be the Warriors on top with a huge upset. Go WARRIORS!

102-Year-Old Woman Sinks Hole in One Elsie McLean became the oldest golfer to hit a hole-in-one Thursday at Bidwell Municipal golf course in Chico, Calif. She sank the 100 yard shot on the par 3 fourth hole using a driver. "When you get to be 102, you don't have much choice," she said. McLean, who began golfing before Arnold Palmer took up the sport, has played the course for 70 years.

The beauty if this is not so much the hole in one (although it's an awesome accomplishment), it's that at 102 she is playing golf. We should all be so fortunate to have our health and the physical capability to play any sport or even walk at 102 years of age. Way to go Elsie.
