UND to sue NCAA over it's name Here we go again. The semi-annual fight over the use of Indian names by sports teams. I lived in Grand Forks for nearly 4 years and I didn't see anything wrong with the Fighting Sioux, but then again I'm not a Native American.

Feds trying to hush Bond's Ex Wife Conspiracy anyone? Cuz I sure as hell can smell blood in the water. I just had to post this. I know everyone's prolly tired of all the Barry Bonds stories, but this one looks pretty interesting in light of the Jason Grimsley episode.

Former major league umpire has stroke Eric Gregg, a good guy with a bad problem. As a born and raised Philadelphian working around town we would always see him jogging trying to keep that massive frame under control. He always got a "Yo Gregg!" or at least a toot on the horn. Get well soon, homie.

Cuban: For the first time in my life, I'm speechless The Dallas Mavericks have made it the first finals since 1971 to have two first-time participants, leaving their owner with nothing to say, a first as well. So, will the Mavs wilt under the Heat? Or the other way around?

FINALLY! Cuban's near ONE BILLION dollar investment will pay some dividends. Now, about 245 more trips to the NBA Finals and about 200 titles and he just may break even! You have to like the guy though... anyone who has so much cash that he can say whatever he wants, regardless of the pending fine from the commish.
Will Wie make history? Michelle Wie competes for a spot in the men's U.S. Open on Monday in a 36-hole sectional qualifier at Canoe Brook Country Club in New Jersey. She needs to finish in the top 18 out of 153 entrants to earn a trip to Winged Foot. Needless to say, if she succeeds, it will be a first for a woman golfer to earn a spot in the men's U.S. Open, not to mention a 16-year-old girl still in high school.

This girl has not earned anything! PERIOD! What has she done? What has she won? I for one am sick and damn tired of hearing about her. On the LPGA Tour, there are many better and more exciting players than Wie. Not only Wie, but having any woman play a PGA event is a crock of shit!
