Shaq, Ben Wallace, Tim Duncan, Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady and a whole host of other Veteran players that should represent the USA but don't, are the reasons for this trend. It's not the best in the USA against the best from other countries. Kobe would have played but he just had surgery done.
