Vikings not passing up Culpepper trade Teams in need of quarterbacks include Miami, New Orleans, Detroit, the New York Jets, the Baltimore Ravens and the Oakland Raiders, who still have not released Kerry Collins, even if it has been reported that they have. Please not Detroit! We have Harrington!

The Boss has a heart! Arkansas kid was saving up to go to a Yankees game, but instead gave the money up to keep his school open. Steinbrenner heard about it and...

Not surprised. George pays good money to his PR guys. Stories like this aren't meant to stay confidential. They're meant to sell tickets and papers. If wealthy George really wanted to reward this kid, he should match the 1000 to the school district. All of you who are saluting him for this are suckers......

You are still a sucker for defending him. I'm sure George can pull $1000 out of his right pocket. For the record, my quote explains that he should have matched the donation and gave another $1000 to the SCHOOL DISTRICT. He did'nt. This isnt a feel good story. It's a PR trick. My reason for believing this....it was publicized.

PR MOVE....
Why publicize it. Why not keep it as a simple reward to kid for his loyalty to his team and his school. Why involve the press. Answer: Good PR. Proof: You forgetting how he is ruining the sport and defending him for something that could have been done away from the public eye or ear. PR MOVE....

I thought it was. However, I will continue to get the last word in as long as anybody tries to defend this jerk. Childish I admit but....Oh Well... PR MOVE.

I would like to apologize to everyone for turning this into a circus with my sharp smart ass remarks. I let my hatred for the man get the best of me and acted like a child during the discussion. My apologies again to all of you. (Even you..Bullpenpro and Jerseygirl). I would like to make a sincere apology to Franky for the threatening response. I am old school and reacted inappropriately to nasty name calling. My apologies again to all of you....
NBA Reserves Named: The coaches have weighed in and four Pistons have been added to the Eastern All-Stars. In the West, both Pau Gasol and Tony Parker will be making their first appearances.

Much respect to Paul Pierce but he should be out and Arenas should be in.

I think the allstar game is about who is having a better year not who you would take for your team. Paul Pierce is the man but Arenas is having a much better year and so is his team. As a matter of fact, Arenas hit the shot that beat Boston.

Ray Allen is my favorite player in the league and I am a Warriors fan. However, I think C. Paul should be there instead. His team is winning and he is the major reason.

Don't hate Shaq because he's big. He is the most dominant presence in the nba. Ben Wallace is the glue that holds that team together. Z is good but not better than either of these two monsters. Z is a role player.
If I was Culpepper, I would be dying to leave a club that going nowwhere also.
Culpepper is a big reason they were going nowhere. His salary doesnt match his lack of ability. B. Johnson is a much better QUARTERBACK for Minnesota's offense. He is also a much better leader. His success while Culpepper was down only proves it. Culpepper will sign with Oaktown and the Raiders will finally fall off the face of the earth.
I see alot of people saying Culpepper's washed up after one bad year?! Look at the guy's 04' stats! MAYBE he'll have a tough time coming back from the knee injury but he has a huge upside.
He has a bigger downside. His salary, his decision making and his attitude.
