Chiefs trade Jared Allen to Minnesota: League leading sack specialist Jared Allen has been traded to Minnesota for first and third round draft picks.

With the Williams brothers and Allen, that d-line will dominate. This team looks great, on paper. If T. Jackson doesn't f-up too bad, they will definitly be contenders.

MMA Fantasy Draft If every fighter in the world was suddenly declared a free agent, what order would they be selected in?

Cool article. Don't agree with most of the choices on there. At the end of the day, quality will prevail. The guy whos got BJ and A. Silva has the best team so far in my opinion.

Top 10 Unbreakable Sports Records Whenever the inevitable debate arises among sports fans concerning the record that is the least likely to ever be broken, many people are quick to cite Joe DiMaggio's 56-game hit streak. But there are many others...

Ripken doesn't impress me enough to be #1. Where's Favre's consecutive starts record????? Cy Young's 511 wins will never be broken. Marciano's 49 wins were against lame and over the hill opponents.

Ripken's record is so overrated that it annoys me. Baseball is not physical enough for that record to be so highly touted. Its great that he showed up everyday for work, 6 months out of the year, for 16 years, but it ain't that great. I liked the suggestion about Cael Sanderson, 159-0 is a very impressive feat.

Tony Kornheiser Hates Sportsfilter If a huge dumpster landed on their mother's house, and got all the way into the basement and crushed them, nobody would care. Nobody would miss them. They provide nothing good, no service that's any good at all.

posted to General at 3:56 PM CDT

Kornheiser is the classic "jack of all trades, master of none". His limited knowledge about (almost) every sport allows him to form a semi-educated opinion on (almost) every sport. His opinions stink most of the time and he's absolutely horrible on Sunday night football as well.

They both suck, anyone who ever bought into they're illeducated opinions sucks. That includes any of you.

Pavlik beats Taylor. Again. Kelly Pavlik won a unanimous decision over Jermain Taylor. This was the second time they fought.

posted to Boxing at 12:27 PM CDT

How Taylor can go from hanging with Wright and Hopkins to losing twice to Kelly Pavlik, is beyond me. It must be a mental thing for Taylor at this point because Pavlik is a joke. At this point they're both jokes, they look like amateurs in the ring together. I hate to say it, but boxings future is looking bleaker and bleaker. All of the big name characters in every class are getting old and soon all we'll be left with is Cotto and Mayweather. After them who cares.

Calzaghe is one of those old guys I was referring too. He'll probably retire after Hopkins decisions him. Pavlik vs Trinidad is not a set fight. Pavlik will probably lose to Arthur Abraham before that ever happens. Mayweather vs Cotto is the only fight I wanna see after Calzaghe vs Hopkins is over.

I admire Marvin Hagler so much that I named my dog Hagler. Seriously. What a great champion.

This weeks's NFL games will make terrific theater. From Romo's romp in Cabo with Jessica, to the perfect Patriots. This weekend should deliver excellent football, and if Dallas loses, plenty of tabloid commentary on Monday.

I see some upsets happening this weekend. I like the road dogs in the NFC.

For The Love of Sport: Thursday Night Football It will be nice to sit back and just enjoy the Broncos and the Texans without worrying about a chase for perfection, BCS implications and all of the hype that surrounds so many football games. The latest column by sportsfilter member Kyrilmitch_76.

For The Love of Sport: The Sweet Science Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Ricky Hatton will attempt to knock a little bit of the tarnish off of boxing’s image on December 8, 2007 when they clash for the WBC welterweight title in Las Vegas. The latest in a weekly series by sportsfilter member kyrilmitch_76.

Chico is right, when done masterfully, it is sweet. There is so much more technique, in good boxing, than meets the eye. As far as Floyd vs Hatton goes; I believe that Floyd will win by decision, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Hatton get knocked out.

Jaguars Will Dump Leftwich, Rely on Garrard to Start In a dramatic about face from all of the happy talk this preseason between Byron Leftwich and Coach Jack Del Rio, the Jacksonville Jaguars will drop their four-year starter and elevate David Garrard to the position. If anyone's looking for a gutsy, slow-footed, cannon-armed quarterback who takes more debilitating hits than the Black Knight on Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Leftwich is available for trade until 4 p.m. Saturday.

posted to Football at 5:16 PM CDT

Leftwich is a lop. They're better off with Garrard for now. But they might think about making that position a top priorty for next years draft or a trade.

Bob Costas - Patrick Arnold Interview For those without HBO. Originally aired on July 24, Bob Costas went in depth with Patrick Arnold - the key chemist and man behind "the clear" in the BALCO case.

Jim Grey is the most annoying sportscaster in the world, hands down. But Bob Costas is a close second. Such an annoying little man.
