Hey -: Noticed your profile on Sportsfilter and thought you would be interested in a new sports community . . . I'm curious how many other profiles this spammer fellow has "noticed". Anyone else got email from Aaron Wright about the "Ultimate Sports Community" he and his bussies put together?

jasonbondshow and jasonspaceman both bit the big one in week 7...but that's better than any of us donkeys. Congrats, fellas! The group has been reset so anyone who played the first round can make a Week 8 pick. (New folks can sign up, group 18049, pass spofi.)

Fantasy NFL Week 7 "It makes the championship totally illegitimate...": I've been on a total slackfest on the standings tables, apologies for that, ... a week 7 table will be posted this week. But, for the moment at least, I'd this thread to discuss the point ChasFile made about the Week 17 Championship game (because, frankly, Yahoo's message interface sucks and I think the discussion is worthy of the Lockerroom). (Discussion to date recap inside.)

NFL Fantasy League Week 12. - The vagabonds reign on, becoming the first team to break 1000 points, followed closely by deadskins and Boom Chakalaka. - With two regular season weeks to go, The Salad Tossers break into the final playoff spot, as one of five teams hovering around .500 fighting for 3 spots. - the show pick up their league-leading third weekly high score but are still two games under .500. It's gonna be a fun final stretch.

what's going here? recent lockerroom threads with muiltple comments by the user are listed once for each comment (e.g. SpoFi Fantasy NFL Week 8). this doesn't seem to apply to older threads, at least in my case.

and it doesn't apply to all users the same: see the "face like this" thread for this user versus this user.

our sportslinkcentral spammer (discussed here and here) is up to no good again. i received this unsolicited crap in my inbox last night:

Hello,
I recently came across a post on SportsFilter.com that had mentioned my site, Sports Links Central.com (www.sportslinkscentral.com).
  The message read as such:
Check out this great source for sports industry websites Sports Links Central provides ... blah blah blah.
You and several others accused this post of being SPAM and judging by the way it reads, I couldn’t agree with you more.
I own, created, and continue to manage this site and do not advocate SPAMMING in the form of email or message boards.
I just wanted to assure you that this message was not SPAM and hope you can find the format and links of Sports Links Central.com useful in your Web surfing.
Please contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns.
Sincerely,
Jim
Jim Daly, Managing Director Sports Links Central.com
this isn't an apology or an explaination, which should have occurred in the above mentioned threads. it is harvesting my email address to further plug the shiite he's selling. anybody else get hit? can we ban this joker?

what's the right term to refer to the founders(/owners?) of sportsfilter? over at metafilter everybody knows who Matt is and that his word is (sorta) law (or at least they should). i used Founding 7 in the thread by salmacis below, but that doesn't sit right with me somehow.
