Did anyone else get a ton of 'sportsfilter' spam last night?: I got 25+ e-mails from a website called http://grou.ps that claimed to have a Sportsfilter-related group and encouraging me to "increase my activity rank". This is to the e-mail addy I have listed in my profile here. No biggie, I can just delete 'em, I was just curious if anyone else here was getting them too.

NYTimes reg-free.: Twice in the past two days, people have posted (very good) links to NYTimes articles. The old grey lady is a great paper with some fantastic - and often unique - content, but she's a harsh mistress when it comes to registration. The link for a user profile on the front page is this URL:: http://www.sportsfilter.com/user.cfm/1 and returns a 404. Anywhere else on the site, it's http://www.sportsfilter.com/members/profile.cfm/1 and works just fine.

SpoFi Stadium Cup Swap.: Anyone interested in doing a swap of stadium cups? I've accumulated a ton of TX Rangers cups from the beer vendors at the Ballpark in Arlington that are actually pretty decent quality (worth keeping)but would like to swap them out for cups from other stadiums (of any sport). And thus began the SpoFi Wiki (what's a Wiki?) I tossed it together pretty hastily, so please feel free to edit anything that seems loquacious or stumbly. Also, add add add and it can become the source for all questions SpoFi. Do note that the formatting of linkage and text alteration in Wiki is far different from your standard html. It's not difficult by any means, but html won't work. I'm not sure if more than one person can edit at a time, so it may be a good idea, at least initially, if you would comment here that you were editing and then comment again when you're done. Enjoy.

Congratulations to SpoFi NBA Fantasy Champion the show (who I'm guessing is jasonbondshow) who came from third to beat second place regular season finisher Dirty Money in the semi-finals ane then beat regular season winner (me) in the finals. Good show, chap. Now fess up! Who was everyone?
