Thank goodness it's treatable. I hope they got to it early enough to wipe it out. Go Matt Go! It's crazy how this type of thing can come on. I remember last year seeing a good friend of mine at a Boris show at the Cat's Cradle in Chapel Hill and he was complaining of a nasty headache that just wouldn't go away. What seemed like a blink of any eye later, I was wheeling him to a radiation treatment.
And I know what Matt speaks of about the MRI. I had to go through one earlier this year in hope of finding the source of my sudden onset of a seemingly endless series of migraines. In hindsight, it was pretty funny when they asked me what kind of music I liked best. They had a XM radio on board and they switched it to my type of music. I think I got to hear 45 seconds of a song before the industrial jams of the MRI machine drowned everything else out.

As far as Caniac Nation is concerned, Scott Walker is gold. The guy's career was pretty much over with a Matt Cook elbow to the head earlier this season and suffered under some really dark days. But old boy pulled through and scored his first ever playoff goal. And I'm so fucking happy that it was him that scored the series winner.

No, can't afford them this time around. I'm back in school and working just part time. I'm hoping to score at least one game though. Wish it would've been last night's peak/valley/highestpeakevar! game. I don't know what it is about New Jersey, but 'Canes seem to always come up with one huge bout of luck that wins a game for them. It's weird.
