I was doing so well for awhile, but then injuries and a pitiful defense have caused my recent ruin. Best Pick (other than Hossa)- Slava Kozlov in the 7th round. He's having a damn fine season so far. Worst Pick-Marek Malick in the 3rd round. WTF was I thinking? Best waiver p/u-Yet to happen Worst waiver drop-Probably Damond Langkow. I've had issues at center all season. Had I kept Langkow he would be my fourth highest scorer with 23 points.

By the way wirtz, it helps to set your lineup once in a while. YYM, I don't know if I should admit this or not but I set my lineup almost everyday. I was ill last week and may have let it slide a little, but I am actively managing my team. Both teams for that matter.

That, I'd like to hear. No...no you wouldn't. I swear Chicago has the worst announcers; whether radio or TV. Between Ditka doing the Bears preseason games, the morons who do Cubs/Sox on TV and radio, and the woeful Hawks announcers, your best bet is to turn down the volume and invite some friends over to provide the play-by-play and color.

if they're going to write a fucking opinionated book, it should be both a)sports-related and b)a column? It's real simple... If you don't like what someone has to say, ignore it and move on. We're not talking about trolls here, we're talking about discussions that get off topic and turn into personal views. I just think it's kinda hard, if not impossible, to draw the line when the time comes to bring people back into the loop and on topic. Let them say what they have to say and let the community reel the post back on topic if need be. Besides, isn't this site all about people's opinions?

I've read plenty worse than this. I can't possibly see how you can limit ones post. Some people in this community have plenty to say and if we start setting limitations on posts, responses, etc., then we may miss out on some very worthwhile discussions. The topics in question are sure to raise some people's ire, passion and discontent. I, for one, would much rather have them say thier piece than cut them off. Often times posts that start out sports related will veer off topic, and while some will disintergrate into incomprehensible rant, others turn into quite engaging discussions. Please forgive my spelling and grammar...I have had a few glasses of wine and a couple of martinis.

This just in...The Blackhawks have absolutely no desire to sign any quality free agents that may help their club. If they did, who would pick up the mantel as the worst team in professional sports? No, my friends. Being this horrible is obviously too much of an accomplishment for Wirtz to let go. Oh yeah, if the Hawks were stupid enough to sign Roenick, I'm forever changing my allegiance to either the Leafs or Wings (for proximity's sake).
