Folkways, I'll be in Ft Wallton the first week of April for High School baseball games. Still up for a game and drinks? How far is that from Florabama?

I've only been around as a member for about a year, but I've figured one thing out : sometimes less is more. I notice a lot of newer users feel like they need to rush to get fpp's out there and build up comments like crazy in an attempt to "join the crowd". I think the bulk of the fpp's and comments by some irritate others because they may not be to the standards that once were established here. Personally, when I see a fpp or comment from someone like Chico, YYM, Dyams, or DJE, just to name a few, I think " this dude's got something to say." They don't over do it just for the sake commenting, so their comments usually have a little more thought and passion behind them. I may even disagree with what they are saying, but I can appreciate their opinion more knowing that if they feel the urge to post it, they have probably put some thought into it.

Here's a thought: As part of the sign up process, they are prompted to explain why they would like to become a member in 1 paragraph. They could be accepted or denied based on their spelling, basic grammer, and how many lol's and omg's they use in that 1 paragraph.

Folkways, we vacation in Orange each every year, and Florabama is one of the coolest places I've ever been. We're looking at next October. Maybe I'll holler at ya and we can have a few beers at the oyster bar and listen to Jimmy Buffet songs.

It gives you time get a feel for the site and fugure out where all the landmines are placed. In the past, some have wondered in, stirred up a lot of shit, and then never heard from again. If you interested enough to read several posts and give 15 comments, you'll be welcomed.

The closest nba team to me is the pacers. I got to see them play the Celtics pitino's first year as coach. We were rooting for all of the ky boys and the celtics and damn near didn't make it out alive.
