Records in sight after Patriots move to 15-0

hey PublicUrinal, seems like you have links to a lot of sports stories. Have you come across a link that shows a pic of L. Kiffin holding a baby JaMarcus Russell?

Has anyone come across the link that has a doctored photo of Lane Kiffin holding baby JaMarcus Russell in his arms?

Ex-Patriot receiver Darryl Stingley dies

Sorry to hear Darryl Stingley has passed. As far as he being the better man through out the years is another story. You have to remember that game was played nearly 30 years ago, the game is a lot different now. And as salary's escalate, it will continue to change. QB's now wear skirts, players are bigger stronger etc, etc. Jack Tatum was playing the game the way he was taught. And fortunately for Jack, unfortuate for Stingley, he was a hard hitter and a force on defense. Jack didn't make much money back then, I just wonder how much a player like him would demand in this day and age.

Lackey, Kendall ejected as A's brawl past Angels

Nobody really knows what Lackey said to Kendall. What ever Lackey said, made him the instigator, thus just as guilty as Kendall. Ejecting both of them was right, if only to keep the peace. I totally agree with what fenriq had to say about AL pitchers.

Hey tcc1118 You must make an exorbitant amount of money at your place of employment. Oh and by the way I suppose you have many fans with your name on the back of their jerseys, cheering you on at the job.

So...who's for real and who's a pretender so far?

I have to toss in my West Coast pick. Go A's Oh! by the way they always start slow. Loved that opening series(2-1) against the best team money can buy.

Webb's eagle on 72nd hole sets up playoff win

Hey chico thanks for the info on Wie being a pro. I misunderstood the announcers thinking she had to be 18 to turn pro. I learned she has to be 18 to join the LPGA tour, she isn't a member of any pro tour yet. I hate when I have to research stuff!

Webb's eagle on 72nd hole sets up playoff win

Terrific finish, of course I was rooting for my hommie Ochoa, I'am curious to know what Wie would have done had she won the tournament. I mean she's not old enough to turn pro, right? I heard she could petition the LPGA and turn pro. That's a lot of money she could have won.

Boxer Mesi Ready to Make Comeback

"Somebody should sit Baby Joe down in front of The Set-Up" At (31-0) he must know how to box, even though it looks like he uses his head to block punches. He has that boxers mentality and no one can tell him different. Until he has this next fight, he will not be satisfied. If its on TV I'm watching it!

Boxer Mesi Ready to Make Comeback

Let the man fight, I say. It's not like he's going up against a champion (he will face 41-year-old journeyman Ron Bellamy (14-4-4) on Saturday.) Mesi has something to prove to himself.

Brackets trashed around the country.

As I'am posting this message, it looks like Florida will be playing G.Mason. Mason may have the same problem Villanova had,the inside game. George Mason truly a Cinderella team and my sentimental favorite to win it all. Also like chicobangs, I'd never heard of it GO G. MASON !!

SOCCER! When I was a kid we used to call it kick ball. No rules or regulations, just get a bunch of guys out on an open field and kick the hell out of the ball and each other. The sport has come a long way, still don't understand rules completely. Love it when the World Cup comes around. USA! USA !USA !

Japan wins World Baseball Classic

I'll admit I didn't really get into the WBC, mainly because so many U.S. players decided not to play. I did see the champioship game though. In this era of overpaid, under achieving, egotistical athletes, it was refreshing to see all that enthusiasm and pride for one's country displayed by the Cuban and Japan players.

Globetrotters vs. Washington Generals. This sure brings back good old memories. I remember my father taking my brother and I to the Oakland Arena to see Goose Tatum and the Generals play. And as someone wrote , it looked like it was scripted. But who cared, it was pure good clean fun. Good stuff!

Vikings deal Culpepper to Dolphins

Does anyone have a clue to what the Raiders will do as far as obtaining a QB. I have no idea! But as in the past, what ever decision Davis makes, it will be controversial. Raiders fans will either love it or hate it.

Culpepper may have a hard time coming back from that knee injury, only time will tell. As a Raiders fan and ticket holder, I'am willing to wait. As far as He and Moss getting along that's a moot point! Different team, coach, situation. Yes Shell was an ex o-lineman, Correct me if I'am wrong. Don't you have to establish the run game for the pass to work?

Welcome to Soap Opera Saturday in Torino

I guess I should be explicit on my opinion of the Winter Games. No, I don't love them! I do watch them, but only the events I enjoy. One of which is not Curling. Didn't mean to slam the sport of Curling. And I use the term Sport lightly. On the West Coast , plenty of sand not too much ice we call it Shuffleboard.
