I'm not a huge baseball fan but I've been very impressed by Upton's base running. Sunday night he pretty much stole a home run by himself. Monday he scored a run that allowed the game to be suspended. If not for that run, MLB would have been forced to violate it's own rules in order for the World Series not to end with a rain shortened game. It's fun to watch.

"In trying to do the right thing I made a terrible error in judgment, ..." I have got to remember this little gem for the next time I get caught hiding in the bushes.

So, where would you move to? I'm curious! I'm not sure. I've lived in Mexico and the Netherlands. Both countries are having problems with race and diversity but in both places I still felt as if I breathe a lot easier without having to inhale the toxic cloud of american racism. If I had the money and the freedom right now I think I'd move to Spain.

Black people put themselves in the spot by constantly making everything a race issue. When will they grow out of that? I suppose when I move out of the United States or stop having to deal with idiots.

dyams: would otherwise be the literal "bottom feeders" of society, with no education and probably living off public assistance I'm pretty sure that Kobe comes from a solidly middle class family so what exactly do you mean here?

My experience of Boston is from twenty years ago but in my experience it's an incredibly racist city. There were areas of the city I couldn't go to without being threatened. Downtown clubs suddenly developed dress codes when I showed up. I have no idea about the truth of Bond's statement but I do know that twenty years ago Boston was the most racist city I ever lived in.
