JM is an annoying blabbermouth. OK, we get it, he knows baseball. He just knows squat about baseball commentating; he is D-U-L-L with a capital ZZZZzzzzz!! I'm still waiting for the the John Madden of Baseball to arrive; a guy who knows his stuff, and is entertaining at the same time.

I think EVERYBODY here missed an obvious point. Besides money, talent, good managers and coaches, ANY championship team must have great chemistry. Great chemistry leads to magical moments in the playoffs, and ultimately championships. Prime example - the 2004 Red Sox. I think the last Yankee team that had this was the 2001 team that lost to Arizona. (So why did they lose? That's the 200 million dollar question I guess?) The past few years, all the hired guns coming in, the vets getting older, and tons of injuries, have killed any chance at good team chemistry these Yankess may have had. Even Bill Gates couln't buy good team chemistry - it's like catching lightning in a bottle.

I am starting to know how Atlanta fans feel. We get excited when we make the playoffs, but we're not so disappointed when we lose in the playoffs, because it's happened so many times. Time to regroup with some youth, and see if we can get Jeter one more ring before he retires. Oh, and maybe one more before Von Steingrabber croaks.
