Tim Hardaway, the yin to Jon Amaechi's yang:

I bet Amaechi enjoyed showering with the team like a straight guy would like to shower with Anna Kournikova, J-Lo, and Jessica Simpson......MMMMM can't wait for practice to be over. The first one there and the last to leave. Why do you think Men and Women have seperate locker rooms?

The_Black_Hand. I have too post it on more than one thread in case it gets missed. Some people don't read every single thread out there. Do you? I just read the threads that interest me....That's the beauty of variety. It's kind of like the World Cup being on more than one channel. If you don't catch the game on ABC or ESPN, you can get it on Galvision. That way everyone gets to enjoy it. Some call this the SHOTGUN EFFECT.

Miami Wins the NBA Championship.

Miami Beat us to win the championship. I wish Mavs fans would STOP CRYING about the Refs. We lost 4 games in a row. We reverted back to old Mavs ball(shooting jumpers and playing soft under the boards). Thats the bottom line, so lets stop being babies about it and blaming everyone but ourselves. We did not play tough like in games 1 & 2. How do we expect the refs to send us to the line if we are just shooting (jacking) 3s and outside jump shots. The Heat just played more aggressive. If we ever plan on winning a the Championship, we have to look at how we need to improve.......After the Heat lost the first 2 games, did they cry about the Refs? No, they went back and figured out what they needed to do in order to win. That's what we should of done. WE PUT WAY TO MUCH ENERGY IN CRYING ABOUT CALLS. THAT'S WHY WE DON'T HAVE THE TROPHY!

NBA Owner Feels the Heat

In every sport, from little league to the pros, the loser always complains of some kind of unfairness. It is just human nature. If Dallas wins, do you think they complain about the refs? I was at a u-12 soccer game last week. The score was 9-0. Quess what the losing team cried about?.....Yes, the Refs. WHAT ?!!!!!!!??? I could not believe it. You get romped 9-0 and the first thing you can think of is the REFS. Give me a break. I love the Mavs as much as anyone...but as long as there is sport, the REFS will be the biggest excuse for losing. The refs are a part of the game. Just deal with it and overcome. Once Dallas wins, we won't hear anymore about the REFS.

Who Says a Tie is a Bad Thing?

Just because we may not be a fan of a particular sport we do not need to down it. That is the beauty of sports, there is something out there for everyone to enjoy. It would suck If we only had one sport to watch. Its kind of like women. If you don't like a tall one pick a short one. If you don't like skinney ones get a fat one.......all that matters is that you enjoy it. Like the commercial says " Life without sport is BORING"......As for me, I love having a variety of different sports to watch.

We could make a lot of these idiots happy that want to see more scoring by making every goal count as 6 or7 points like in football.... Then they would think soccer has a lot of scoring in it. How many football games end 14-0, 21-7, etc. .......That translates 2-0, 3-1 in soccer goals.

Mcbride and the COACH needs to be sent back home. THEY BOTH SUCK!!!!!! Put in Eddie Johnson . He is the only scorer on the team...... Mcbride plays weak and was never a threat. The coach puts to much stock in the players that play in Europe. He needs to play Dempsey and Johnson at the same time.

The semi-annual Barry Sanders questions. Why and why not come back?

Barry was the best back ever. Emmitt could not carry Barry's Jock. Emmitts team did not have any weaknesses. Most of the time the Safety was the first one to touch him......If Barry and Emmitt were to swap teams during their prime, Barry would have retired with over 30,000 yrds.

Kobe drops 81 for 2nd most in a game in history of NBA.

What happened to Phil Jackson's triangle. When Shaq was there thats all he preached and won rings. Now the only offence he runs is the Kobe and no play-offs......Phil is a turd that cried about Kobe to Shaq. Now that Shaq is gone he does not have any complaints about Kobe. Phil is just a butt kisser that lets the team superstars run his team. Phil is just there for the ride.

Lendale White leaving USC

(yerfatma)He seemed to be pretty good in high school too. Probably just the program........ Most D-1A Running Backs do look good in high school. That is why they go D-1A (Duh!). I had three games rushing for over 200 yards when I was in high school and went D-1AA. It is easy to look good in high school. On most high school teams you don't even have to try out. You just have to be a kid age 14 to 19 that goes to that school. As an 18 year old Tailback I could run over those 15 and 16 year old LBs and DBs all day long. Heck, I might just pull out some of those old tapes tonight to help me feel good about myself.

Heisman winner Bush declares for NFL draft

I agree with Midwaymonster. Bush will not be able to carry the whole load....... Did we forget how USC used him. Bush needed White to spell him. Whithout White, The huge O-Line, great receivers and a Heisman QB we would not be talking about Bush. Barry Sanders nor Gayle Sayers ever had a supporting cast like Bush has, in college or pros....... The media hype also boosted Bush. Remember last year when they were so high on this freshman called A.P. he was considered the best RB in College. Bush did not even get half of the votes that Peterson did. This year Peterson was not even in the running. Petersons team is rebuilding .

Lendale White leaving USC

White will do better in the NFL than Bush. White is the best USC back. If the Media would not have jumped on the Bush bandwagon white would have been the Heisman trophy champ and the top pick. Look at their career #'s. both are Juniors and only 10 rush yards seperate them( bush had way more carries). The TD #'s is not even a contest. White blows Bush out of the water. * Bush is over rated. He would not be able to do what he did if he did not play for USC. He had a Heisman winner QB the best line in the NCAA, A TE that will go pro, and a back up RB that was better than him.

Heisman winner Bush declares for NFL draft

Why would the Texans need Bush? Davis is not a bad RB his first 2 season he ran for over 1000 yrds. and almost ran for 1000 this year missing 5 games. + Andre Johnson was injured this season. The Texans are not a bad team. they were in most of the games they played. Injuries really hurt them a lot. The Colts only beat them by a last minute field goal. With a healthy Davis, Johnson, and VY the Texans could be one of the most improved team in the NFL next season.

Vince Young turning pro

I would hate to see the Texans or any team pass on Vince . HE MAY COME BACK TO HAUNT YOU!!!! Just ask Matt and Reggie. All they did was take his trophy and look at how much that pissed him off. Just imagine him coming back home to play against the TEXANS after they pass on him. Can you say Reggie's nightmare.

Hand it to the Mean Green

It is something how Jamario Thomas and Adrian Peterson both came from the same area in East Texas. Both of them from small schools. O.U. loves to sneak into the backwoods of East Texas to find hidden talent. Stoops picked up another couple of BlueChips from the East Texas area to look out for. Receivers Malcolm Kelly and Manuel Johnson. Being from The Dallas Area we see this hot bed of talent from East Texas all of the Time when they come to the metoplex for games.

Another soccer phenom?

This is just a publicity stunt for the club that the kid plays for. The club he plays for put the tape out. No doubt the kid has skills, but in Dallas Texas there are kids his same age doing the same thing. In fact, during a tournament this past summer I saw a little 9 year old black kid playing central mid that Could do the same thing as this Jean kid, but the black kid actually had more pace than Jean and he would Set the other players up to score. In the game I saw he scored 3 goals and set up the other players for 5 goals. This was a semi-final game of a major Metroplex tournament. I did not get to See the finals but I heard his team won. I was told the kid was from East Texas?
