As much as I would like to see a real flanker in Chiefs red-and-gold, I think that King Carl will wind up taking a center or guard first; it will be the first step in rebuilding. If I had my way, I'd give Miami, or some other team, Trent Green and a draft pick for an impact corner, but hey, I don't think that'll happen.

Let's see here... A man personifies his game by showing others how to hustle, keeps pitchers honest, plays a lot longer than most would, breaks more than one record, is not ashamed to admit his mistakes (which makes him a better man, in my book, than most love-em-and-leave-em-deadbeat-dads), and the good people who run Major League Baseball, who apparently don't think they have a problem with their image(are they old enough to remember Steve Howe?), take the high and mighty approach to ban him. How about it, Bud? You going to admit that Bart and Fay might have made a mistake, too?

Chiefs trade Jared Allen to Minnesota:
Like most around here, I liked Jared Allen. But in the wake of some of his comments, this trade doesn't quite hurt as much. I think the most profound thing to say about the trade is, Jared will have a hard time getting around the Chiefs' new left tackle--whoever it is. And Howie's son Chris will look good in red and gold.
