Team Me Up Scottie

Scottie did a great job with the Bulls, back in the '90's. Perhaps we should set up a Senior League in Basketball, as we have in golf? That way all the retired players who want to steal a spot from a young gun trying to break into the NBA will have a place to display their egos. They could compare laser surgeries, cholesterol meds and viagra scrips. I hate the fact that we have high school grads going straight to the NBA today, and feel the early draft rule should be changed, but I certainly don't want to see once great ballplayers limping around the court either. Scottie, go home, relax, enjoy your 6 rings, you earned it.

Lions' Roy Williams says "score means nothing"

wow, lots of action here. oh, I agree with the black hand, Luther, I've been a Bears fan my whole life and you do give us a black eye when you post garbage like this. Please, I'm certainly no prude but let's grow up a little. As to celebrations, a simple spike of the ball after a TD, ok. First downs, tackles, sacks, how about a high five, fist tap or pat on the back? Otherwise, last time I looked, it is their job to acheive those goals. Or am I missing something?

NBA's Dirtiest players

ah, kendall, how do you figure MJ was dirty? hard charging, and, yes, he got away with some no calls, but he didn't throw low blows, didn't trip others, didn't head butt, didn't throw any punches or bang chests and sure didn't play dirty. Maybe you should just stay in Cleveland.

Rick Mirer

the article was pretty interesting, but the phrase worst ever should take more into account than passing average. Some QB's never threw for more than 200 yards per game, by design, because they couldn't. pretty subjective determination devised by an apparent accountant. It will be interesting to see who the "best" is.
