Knight: I didn't do anything wrong, would do it again

That's the only part I find at all disturbing about this. Good god, but college kids nowadays are a bunch of babies. The kid is 18, right? Why are mommy and daddy involved? Why does anyone feel they need to be called? My guess is the A.D. called anticipating the news frenzy. The Kid seemed to stick up for Knight in the article, and all the people involved considered it a non-incident. College kids today may or may not be a bunch of babies. But since I've got three still in school I can tell you one thing. Mommy and Daddy are involved whether they want to be or not. My youngest is playing softball and if the coach did anything like that, my daughter would never tell me. But her coach isn't Bobby Knight either. That's why we're talking B.S. about this B.S.

Tyson considers fighting women

What's so surprising? He already has a "record" for beating women.

Fox fires Steve Lyons for racially insensitive comment

Lyons was comfortable on a personal level speaking that way with Lou. We all pick and choose what we say and who we say it to. Racial differences have been the fodder of many a jokester for as long as I can remember. Timing and proper venue seem to dictate whether anyone cares if its PC or not. This was wrong place wrong time.

Bears, Best Team in the NFL?

Thou shalt not write a FPP that ain't about what the link is about. Right. Save it for the locker room. If the win in Minnesota is any indication, the Bears should go far. _They're_ probably the best in the NFC. Top five in the NFL. A consistant Grossman and some tough road wins will convince me. As for the defense, the offences they've faced so far are hardly an adequate measuring stick. Other than crushing the banged up Seahawks, I see no reason to be doling out Super Bowl rings yet.

The "clutchiest" hits in MLB playoff history.

No one remembers you for a good effort Well, that's not true. Everyone seems to remember Ted Williams, Ernie Banks and Don Mattingly. They never won a single playoff series (Williams was 0-1, Mattingly was 0-1, and Banks never played in the playoffs). That was a reference to the Atlanta Braves, not Individual Hall of Famers. None so memorable as Gibson

The "clutchiest" hits in MLB playoff history.

What about Reggie Jacksons 3 HRs in one game? Hmmm or was it four? can baseball fans please just give the braves the credit they deserve and stop mentioning their lack of success in the playoffs. namely the world series. that argument/comment is been so overdone and has become tiresome. i don't even care......the braves have always beeen my team and they always will be. let it be. i just love baseball. No one remembers you for a good effort

T.O. Reportedly Attempted Suicide

I think he just needs a big hug. We should ask if he violated the leagues substance abuse policy. He should be on aspirin 3 days after a broken finger.

Shockey blames the coaches

Still too early to say if any one was over-rated unless your talkin' about the Redskins. Back on point, "Jeremy Shockey". The point, ctal1999, Is that Shockey spoke out to the media, in a negative way about his coach. That "is" the point. That's why we're talking about it. The play calling, and even the outcome of the game were irrelevant. The coach is the coach and the player the player. Team discipline, Chain of command, are all vital to winning football. Shockey acted uprofessionally and immaturely. His actions are a detriment to the team. (See any T.O. reference in the past two years) You lost me when you used "Shockey" and "logic" in the same sentence.
