The French will never give up with their attack on Lance

its so simple.... you'd have to think Bonds is clean to think Lance is clean. You have to get over the idea that whatever he was given takes away from his accomplishments. It really doesn't, considering what he overcame. Just evens it out. If you're really passionate about this, it'll cloud your judgement - I couldn't care less about cycling. Vive Lance is right, thanks to countless meds, Vive Lance. To Quantify further with further Quatification (solely for the sake of quantifying) If he took something - yes What he took - hormones, tons of em. What the effects are - you can survive cancer and regain your strength. ask yourself - did he regain all of his strength after cancer?

How am I "quantifying" that... I know you really wanted to use the word "quantifying"... I'm not, I said "probably", because cancer patients get pumped with a TON of meds... Meds, most people never encounter, numerous kinds of hormones, and that's just to SURVIVE, not win major sporting events, so I said "most probably" - sometimes reason supplants evidence that may never be found. Use your brain, cancer + treatment + ???? = Tour win? It's not wheaties I'll tell ya that Is that quantified enough for you?

The dude survived Cancer, and won the Tour... over and over again... He most probably at some point received something for his treatment that was illegal for cycling, but who cares... the dude had to survive Cancer. The stuff he may have taken, only put him NEAR a level playing field..

I'm certain, this isn't sarcasm or a joke.... I AM CERTAIN that Isiash is employed by another team in the Eastern Conference. GM's who do nothing are clearly better.

Mavs win! Mavs win!

I just did an analysis on teams with a Shaq... they're good in the finals too. Miami has 1 Shaq and Dallas doesn't have any Shaqs! I thought dirk should have been the mvp, but still, noone here takin the heat? Shaq is looking young again, and he doesn't have to save anything for after this series. Thats a big fat light at the end of the tunnel for him conditioning wise. he's goin all out. and oh yea... WHOS GONNA GUARD SHAQ?

Bill Walton flies coach

It's dedication and perserverance that ultimately reward any big man. To battle it out in the trenches, you have to be ready to go war! You can't expect to be given anything, you have to earn it. Frankly, the people in 1st Class just havn't shown up tonight, and it's disgraceful, a laughing stock, this is the playoffs not a wine tasting. I'm embarrased and ashamed. No one can pull of a Bill Walton rant like Bill Walton. He's the William Shakepeare of barely coherent passionate hoops rambling. I used to hate it, but like a bad tasting medicine that's addictive, I've become hooked despite the flavor.

8.8%? I like those odds!

Possibly the worst year to pick 1st, especially for the Raptors. I'd seriously consider trading it for someone already in the league, a 1 or 2, as mike james can play with either. Do that and sign one other guy, and the team suddenly looks good.

Brown's Dream Job With Knicks Could Be History

Larry is a great coach, but he had a slim chance when he came, and it's only gotten worse. Much worse. Isiah needs to go. To create that mess of a roster, you'd have to be trying to. There's no other way. Maybe they both still work for Detroit? Seriously, how can any sensible man make the deals he's made? What an idiot. The roster is wrecked beyond repair. It will take years to fix.

Francis shot and killed in Baton Rouge

asking what he was doing could also be viewed as a sympathetc inquiry, the answer could lead to some kind of justice. people are killed for no reason, but you don't assume they are until you know. it was kust a question, with the crime in mind. give the guy a break...

Adelman out in Sacramento after eight seasons

right on... except there's the chance the kings don't make the playoffs (they're good, but the west won't be a picnic next year) and then the management would look stupid.

Lumbergh... you said it all just right in one sentence. Unlike me, I usually say a lot and get at least half of it wrong. he had a good team, and he got good results. simple.

RACE for the mvp

i think nash is great, but what the coach/gm did/are doing for the suns is much greater. i say dirk/lebron and kobe in a 3 way tie is about as fair as it could get. and race card? well yea (NOT), considering they just gave avery johnson the coach of the year, when d'antoni did another astonishing job. Avery did amazing too, and they wanted one man. Can't say thats a bad choice... MVP/Coach.... it's one-one for those foolish enough to keep score, and someone pulls the race card!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Nash again, allegedly.

Of course, he took a team that didn't have any great players and took them to the playoffs unlike LeBron James and Kobe Bryant with all the superstars that surround them. this comment was so foolish i swore it was sarcasm.... it is right?

Coach of The Year

johnson, d'antoni, dunleavy... these 3 could share it, no argument against them i can think of. saunders did a great job, but coaching an all-star team makes it a little easier for him than it was for the other guys.

Forbes.com: The Business Of Baseball

i believe his point was that picking who will be the top teams in baseball is a lot easier than choosing the top teams in football. how can you disagree with that? the sox, the sox, the yanks, the cards, the braves... its a lock. yes you could choose five nfl teams, get 3-5 of em right....but how many playoff spots are left? 1 vs. 7 i think... all those mlb teams fighting for one spot really, just to have a chance. all those nfl teams fighting for 6-7 spots....isnt that a more realistic chance? part of it is simply 16 games vs. 162, a lot more can go wrong, and cant be corrected in that short season, but guys and gals... u must realize that football gives more teams a chance... a fact that glows like burnin coal... get a cap. forget management, even before that, all things should be even. management has nothing to do with a salary cap being good or bad. hiring good management should be rewarded, but when they have different budgets how can they be compared. give me your shining examples against this, they are against the trend, the average. get a cap before its the yankees vs. the National League and Bud calls it a tie.

Mickelson makes it look easy at the Masters

Man..... I had only read the comments. I just watched the video clip (thanks) and its worse than I thought. The chastising, angry tone. The immaturity and arrogance, patting the reporter on the back, yet leaving before the interview was finished. Running away because he knew he was about to say something even worse. Pathetic.

Mickelson makes it look easy at the Masters

That Fuzzy comment was brutal, in so many ways. Some article lamenting the shite it caused him, coloring him the funny guy, doesnt escuse it. The Black club staffers laughed...of course they did, its a country club, and they cater to their guests. Remember, this is a game, a course, which has excluded Blacks. The dude is surrounded by hundreds of white folk...of course someone would eventually slip, and take all the heat. It just happened to be Fuzzy. Maybe he didn't deserve all the heat, as he probably wasnt the only one thinking it, and as discrimination and golf went (go?) hand in hand, but he said it. It was brutal. And oh yea... i know alcoholics. He was one the article suggests. After a stressful time, when they can't drink. Shots can down in a hurry. The minutes don't matter. I've seen guys get a buzz on in minutes. But I ask myself, what does if he drank have anything to do with it? It was brutal. It started brutal, and then he added more. Then again, he added even more. BRUTAL.

The NBA has a problem

did anyone mention travelling? my favorite player, lebron, travels every game and i've seen it called maybe twice. One time I watched him dribble, pick up, right foot, left foot, AND THEN, jump to a 2 foot stop, and lay it in. Iverson's hand is glued under the ball. I watched, i beleive it was anthony johnson, catch the ball, right in front of the ref, pivot on his left, then his right heel, then his right toe. then he hopped back with both and dribbled. They're totally ignoring footwork by the guards but if shaq takes so much as 2.1 steps.... TWEET! and speaking of shaq, did anyone see him elbow that guy in the face, shoot on him, and then land on him....while the victim got called for his 6th. sick.

Racism in Europe once again rears its ugly head

Idiots. Unfortunately they can't be ignored. They should be fined, briefly incarcerated, and banned from attending any sporting or entertainment venue in the country where it occurred, the home country of the victim. And they should also be banned from attending the sport in general. Scream monkey at your TV, that's all you got.

The Olympics We Missed

I don't really think any network would have done better I watched some NBC but mostly CBC up north here... CBC did a great job, NBC seems to focus on hype as if it the Games are a boxing match. Not covering the Games in prime-time, evenings, is a shame I think. Do people really have more interest in Raymond or whatever the hit is now than the Olympic Games? If so, maybe that's the shame and than you can't totally blame the network, but they have to drop the hype, the games provide enough entertainment without hours of that Bode Miller crap. We're fortunate up here to have less money involved, so the focus is solely on the Games. Can't NBC make a little less money for a few weeks? Give the viewers more memories, and less hype...you might find they like that. Maybe a Biathalon/Survivor hybrid would hold the viewer's attention. Shorttrack Big Brother, or Everybody Loves Curling perhaps?

Wouldn't keeping Daunte right now make sense? He's a questionable talent in that he has looked great, he's big, strong, and fast, but he's also had a really bad year supporting the "Randy made him look good" theory, and he got hurt pretty bad too. Detroit's in an interesting situation. You'd think they have all they need at the skill positions because of how they drafted...then you realize one of those guys is Joey Harrington. I still really like the wr's, kevin jones is good enough for sure. They should play it smart, keep it simple... O-Line or D-line...trading down a few spots might be best.
