NBA Playoffs Pool, anyone?:

I'll make this quick and dirty, as I'm mid-way through the process of packing up the house and getting ready to move a whopping 5 miles away, but let's do this for round one, eh?

Pick the winner and number of games (1 point for correct winner, 2 points for correct winner and number of games. 0 points for incorrect winner and correct number of games)

East
Boston vs. Atlanta
Detroit vs. Philadelphia
Orlando vs. Toronto
Cleveland vs. Washington

West
LA Lakers vs. Denver
New Orleans vs. Dallas
San Antonio vs. Phoenix
Utah vs. Houston

Bonus for the first round, worth 2 points each, to make a perfect first round worth 20 points: Pick the player with the highest scoring average in each conference.

Also, don't forget, even though Utah is a higher seed than Houston, the Rockets have a better record and, therefore, the home-court advantage.

(This is one thing I like about NHL picks. There's so much more variance, especially when it comes to individual performances.)

Whoops. There goes that Detroit sweep that I predicted...

Yeah, this round was put together kind of slapdash. I'll try to come up with some better wildcards for round 2. Hopefully things will have settled down some by then. Plus, I like having more points possible with each subsequent round. For the finals, I'll try to have a veritable buffet of points available.

Any suggestions are welcome. Feel free to e-mail.
