The paper wrote that while it could justifiably be considered interference, Holmstrom's actions didn't actually impair Fleury. I didn't see the goal so I can't pass judgement on it. There was an outcry over a goal that was called back in game four against Dallas, a goal that should have counted. It is a widespread belief in Detroit now that Holmstrom is a marked man by the league.
WOW! Who is the guy in the white jacket with the huge flowers? It is cool to see someone who is secure in their masculinity. Don Cherry. People either love him or hate him. Don was recently voted the 7th greatest Canadian (on a CBC poll), behind people like Tommy Douglas, Terry Fox, Sir Frederick Banting, David Suzuki, and Lester Bowles (Mike) Pearson. He finished just ahead of Sir John A. Macdonald, Alexander Graham Bell, and Wayne Gretzky. Some of the things Don is known for include his passionate patriotism, his appreciation of physical hockey, as a bit of a redneck, and for his strong support of the Canadian Armed Forces and firefighters and police officers.
Plus, for a guy like him, it's not always about scoring the goal but getting the goalie thinking too much. Mission accomplished. If Fleury doesn't get Holmstrom out of his head this will be a short series.
Thanks, tommy, I did a GIS, interesting guy.
