I can agree with some (actually most) of the Hoser's picks, but I would not be so quick to go against the Lions on Turkey Day. They have been annually beating teams that were superior to themselves. If anyone can do it, would certainly be Farve and co. But, these are a bit better than past teams and the home-field advantage in such a short week counts a lot. I say the Lions pull the upset and squeak by. I know they lost to a Giant team that they "felt they were better than" - yeah right. But, they should be looked at seriously.

I don't see the Raiders winning in KC. Arrowhead is still one of the toughest places for opponents to play at, and the Chiefs defense is better than people give them credit for. I remember when this used to be "THE" rivalry game. Wow, have things changed!

I'm not sure what Thanksgiving games you've been watching recently but they haven't been Lions games. Lions on Thanksgiving in the past six years. 2001- Green Bay 29 Lions 27 2002- New England 20 Lions 12 2003- Green Bay 14 Lions 22 2004- Indianapolis 41 Lions 9 2005- Atlanta 27 Lions 7 2006- Miami 27 Lions 10

Ok Ying Yang Mafia, I might be a bit older, but even your scores show a close game to GB in 2001 (lost by 2 pts.) and a win by Detroit over GB in 2003? Yeah, I see the last three years as screwing up the point spread, but look a bit further back and you might see the "bigger picture". See, I bet with the point spread involved and in some years (maybe not as recently) they loose but still win by the point spread. The thread was the Hoser's picks and they contained the point spreads. I don't know what he had GB favored by, but I got them at only 3.5 at the time I got my pick in this year. I wonder why a 9-1 team would only be favored by such a short margin? Now, I did say they have an advantage playing at home on a short week, but that is just common sense. Anyway, I don't even like the Lions.

See, I bet with the point spread involved and in some years (maybe not as recently) they loose but still win by the point spread. Unfortunately, winning the point spread does not actually count as winning the game.

When you are betting money it does.... Anyway, have a great Thanksgiving man. Peace out!!!!

Great special at Arrowhead Stadium this week buy two bratwurst combos and get one carry as a Chiefs running back. Your the man.

Chalk up another loss for the Lions... I'm also disappointed that FOX changed their annual Thanksgiving trophy (galloping gobbler?). Yes the new one looks nicer, but it doesn't have the same mystique as the ugly turkey on a pedestal.

Puppet picks.

I did like the little turkey graphic on FOX. Much better than that awful robot thing. How long has that been around anyway? Can't afford to hire a new graphic designer?

Dear Gus Ferotte, Stick 'um. Look into it. Love, The Hoser

Who does Gus Ferotte think he is? Only Ryan Mallett is allowed to pull those kinds of stunts.

This was by far our worst week. The sting wouldn't have been so terrible had the Rams scored that last touchdown, as we would have hit our Trifecta. Other excuses? The biblical flood in Pittsburgh, the lack of Vinny in Carolina and the complete collapse of the Titans. Final Week 12 results: ATS: 4-12 SU: 10-6 Lock of the Week: 1-0 Trifecta: 0-1 The Money Game: -$560 For the season: ATS: 86-82-8 SU: 118-58 Lock of the Week: 4-8 Trifecta: 1-11 The Money Game: $-3,420

I don't see the Raiders winning in KC. What jackass said that?
