American to lead Iran? The Iran national men's soccer team, that is. Afshin Ghotbi, US citizen, and veteran of three World Cups, serving on the coaching staff for the US and Korea, is currently manager of table-topping Tehran team, Persepolis. With the World Cup 2010 qualifiers approaching, and Iran without a manager, it would seem Ghotbi's time has come.
