That's the first time that I have ever been able to understand what "The Chase" is all about and the ramifications of running 43 cars when only 12 drivers have a chance. The potential for skullduggery is enormous. How could you prove anything one way or another? That it hasn't happened yet is a tribute to the basic integrity of the guys who drive these things.

Nice job of writing, kyrilmich. I hope to see many more of these efforts.

Thanks, the funny thing is right now Earnhardt Jr is trying to pass Kyle Busch who is not only the younger brother of the guy that Earnhardt needs to pass to make the chase but he is also the guy who's job Earnhardt Jr is taking next year. I am gonna guess Kyle does everything he can to prevent Earnhardt passing him.
