Thanks JohnSFO. There is a lot of pressure on Basso for this race, so it'll be interesting to see how he manages given his spectacular collapse in last year's race. Personally I think he has a much better chance of winning the Tour than the Giro this year. The double will be very tough. As for the Plan De Corones climb I mentioned, you should check out these pictures of Cunego doing a scouting mission of the stage finish taken last week. Holy crap. I'm not sure it's possible anymore, given the level of competition as well as the dedicated training required.
