I like successful Qbs from schools that were overmatched talentwise. I would go with Jay, you give him some weapons and he'll show you a lot more production than anyone thought possible.

That is a good point, Drallig9399. You would think that a quarterback from a smaller school would be more successful, because he has lesser talent on the O-line. This isn't meant to be a slight to smaller schools, it's just every player coming out of high school wants to play for the big schools. This could also be used against quarterbacks from bigger schools. His O-line talent would be deep, therefore he doesn't have to improvise as much.

Hope people keep talking enough smack about Vince and his throwing motion to make him drop all the way to the Cowboys in the draft. That would be sweeet!

Nice find, justgary. Very interesting. When he was comparing Young and Vick as runners, one sentence actually made me laugh out loud, it was so true: Most of Vick's runs ended in a crushing hit or a touchdown.

it was interesting, but i didn't feel that impressed by the analysis. i guess without seeing the raw numbers, it just feels like stats forced into a hypothesis that most people have already anyway. nice link anyway. the part i liked most was his discussion of how inflexible nfl teams can be regardless of the talents of their players. if this team plays a west coast offense well you better be able to make quick reads and go through your progressions or you'll flounder. i believe this is the biggest ? in VY's future. that and i'm not convinced his 4.58 speed can elude the faster nfl linebackers (brooks, urlacher, peterson) and secondaries.

I thought it was a great find as an article, especially the part of Matt Leinart being the only safe bet in the draft.... Sounds kind of like another QB's last words with the 1st cavalry...too many indians
