Remember the last time the Clips were 11 games over .500? That's right, you don't. They've never been. Unless you remember them as the Buffalo Braves. (Poor Raptors, making hoops history for LA franchises yet again)

Thank you Mike Dulleavy for giving the Los Angeles area an exciting basket ball team to watch. And don't forget Elgin Baylor the GM, who is a former Laker super star.

15 year Clipper fan here.... somebody pinch me. it doesn't even feel like they are gonna collapse. thank you sam aka ALIEN. it's really amazing they are playing this well without maggette. kaman is really coming into his own, and role players such as quinton ross, james singleton, and daniel ewing are really making a difference night in and out.

This is probably the most-overlooked story in the NBA. I was completely wrong about Sam Cassel. Livingston is still fragile and Sam has been great. Minnesota screwed up. westcoast: Elgin Baylor has been godawful for so many years, it's hard to give him any credit. We'll see in a few years if he deserves any: he and Sterling have dismantled every other promising Clippers team.

Brandt for MVP!!! I wish he were on the Warriors.

15 year Clipper fan here.... somebody pinch me. it doesn't even feel like they are gonna collapse. Rest assured uncleboatshoes, the Clippers won't collapse this year. The reason is simple: Elton Brand. He is the most underrated big man in the NBA today. He's putting up 25 points and 10 boards a game. Hard to argue with that kind of production. I can tell you what, being a Warriors fan, we'd loooooooove somebody putting up those numbers in the paint. Adonal Foyle for Brand? hahahaha...yeah right, we wish.

I'm a Laker fan and I can trurly say that the Clippers have come a long way they're young have talent that's being overlook I just hope they don't deal players away.Sam is a plus a leader and a strong point guard that's what the Clippers need.

I love Elton, and he is having an incredible season, but it's more than just him, because he has been solid for years. It's partly Cassell, and a lot is that Dunleavy somehow has them playing excellent team defense. 2nd in the league is OPP FG%. They are stifling teams with Sam Cassell and Cuttino Mobley in the back court who are both known for not being super defensively inclined.

Hey Donnnnychris.. What if we gave up 3 pt. or nothing-Murphy and Dunleavy the Bust for Brandt. That would be my dream trade. Hang in there brother...Our time will come.

vbgjr88, unfortunately the Warriors can't get a bucket of sweat socks for Dunleavy at this point. He's one of the worst draft busts in their history, and that's saying a lot (Chris Washburn, Joe Barry Carroll, etc...). And god, hanging in there is tough when Baron Davis plays a great game and then throws it away by hoisting four or five three-pointers in a row down the stretch, with or without the lead. Oh well, someday maybe the ghost of Rick Barry will bring the championship back to the Bay Area. Someday...

Clippers are running on all cyclinders! Anybody but the "Kobettes"(Lakers)!

Yes...if the regular season ended TODAY, LA's aformentioned "JV" team would be the 5th seed (and have the 4th best record in the West). I love upstart teams, but you have to realize that the two biggest reasons for this turnaround (aside from Brand and Kamen controlling the inside) BOTH were former Houston Rockets Go Cat and Sam!!!!!

I remember growing up in LA in the 90's, for excellent performance they would give us tickets to home games, we used to sell them or give them away thats how bad they were. I am glad they are finally outta the gutter.
