I doubt it . They are just peaking and everything from here will be downhill .
yes a great win, that can perpetuate into a nice long winning streak. a good foundation to make the playoffs and build towards next year. i was orginally hoping that they stay out of the playoffs and pray that Stern would apply his "fix" in the draft and pick the knicks as the overall #1 pick. also, brown joins Lenny Wilkens, Don Nelson and Pat Riley as the only coaches to reach 1000 wins,,,,, hmmm all knick coaches!!!!
Knicks don't have a first-round pick in the coming draft. I'm heartened by the fact that Brown seems to have settled on a rotation that's based on desire and talent and not salary. They remain in an awful cap situation, but given that the East is pretty woeful, they can easily make the playoffs.
How about a link to at least pretend this isn't a chatroom. They'll go nowhere important until Larry Brown tosses Isiah overboard.
Knicks don't have a first-round pick in the coming draft. That doesn't really matter, even if they did the first round pick would just sit on the bench and watch if Larry Brown had his way.
I think the players are finally learning their roles under "Larry Ball". They wont make the play offs, but they will be an improved team the rest of the way, A Trade involving Mr Marberry should be the next move. Load up more on young talent and shed the overpaid guys. And no, I am not saying the the Knicks get Artest. That would be a mistake!
The curse of GRAND MAMA still haunts the Knick. They are still paying the 100 million dollar contract of Larry Johnson. This may belong in the drug testing thread but it is another reason for pre screening employees for degenerative conditions. It is apparent that a corporately run team that, juggles TV revenue is not interested in winning. You can aurgue the Yankees, but I can counter with the Knicks and Dogers. the four reigning champs in their respective sports are not corpos.
Well, the team looks promising for the future. Three draft picks that have shown serious impact. Frye has been consistent, Robinson is one of my favorite players to watch, and even David Lee has played good at times. Overall, easily the best draft class team. However, this year probably won't be a playoff year. My prediction is that they do pick it up but still finish the year 7 or 8 games under .500.
Are the New York Knicks making a comeback? Probably not.
nothing about the knick's future is "promising" until they get out from under the salary cap hell they're in.
Where is Mr. Hustle Malik Rose? He was a favorite of the Spurs.
i kinda like them
Highly doubt it, still real teams make their run after all-star break.
Ticket prices are making a come back!
