Aston O'Villa? First Chelski (that's worked out well), then Manchester Buccaneers (that hasn't, so far), now ... strugglers Aston Villa to be purchased for GBP64mil majority stake by Irish-based billion-pound real estate company, Corner Homes Group. A new era for the Villa? New manager? New players? Whaddayasay, BigCalmy?

When I become a mega-millionnaire, I'm not buying Derby County. I'm buying N********* F***** and making them play in pink tutus. Now, that's what a true football fan would do!

I don't like this... I don't like it at all...

Why couldn't they buy West Brom? Damn...

Ellis must stay!!

Real Estate Company Buys Villa It's hardly shocking.

Here in the US, the headline would've been (wait for it) ... Real Estate Firm buys Aston Villa, renames it Bob Villa. Hoohoohoohoo.

Anyone have a vomit emticon?

Dammit...emOticon...

I wish someone would buy Workington AFC .Maybe Doug Ellis would like to own one of the oldest soccer teams in the world with a proud history .

Why is this all that interesting? Glazer bought control of ManU from Irish horse racing magnates after all.

I still think they should rename them Bob Villa.

btw, Man City gets out the Vasselline for Villa. Hoohoohoo.
