Steelers have a tough schedule, but if they stay healthy, they will win their division, which is no cake walk this year, and the toughness of shedule will make them better in the playoffs. Pittsburgh didn't have to buy their team to be a dynasty in the 70's, and though that has worked for New England, which now have Vrabel & Brown, (original Steelers), a great team is still about chemistry and loyalty. And that means the players, coaches and the front office. Pittsburgh is still the greatest dynasty in the NFL.
The Steelers have more than their fair share of receivers. The signing of Heath Miller is very good. They had to have someone to fill the spot since the retirement of their tight end from last year. They can fill in Plex's spot with El, Wilson, and their draft pick from Georgia. The Steelers don't lack having people for Ben to throw to.
2 years ago the Steelers were heavy favorites going into the season, and they had a total meltdown. They have all the weapons necessary, so can they survive being one of the targets this year?
They had all the weapons necessary except a quartback. Maddox is no quarterback.
As a Virginia football fan, if all these guys that got drafted out of there were sooo good, why did the UVA football team suck so bad?? I think alot of these guys are overrated. As far as the Steelers, they lost two starting linemen, Staley will never stay healthy an entire season, Ward is threatening to hold out, and Roethlisberger has a head the size of a watermelon. I predict a big slide for the Steel Curtain this year. "Pittsburgh didn't have to buy their team to be a dynasty in the 70's" They bought it off a drug store shelf and injected it.
