I think Derlei's final goal was terrific and incredibly well deserved. I know I'm a newby and all but I think Celtic should have been playing with eight men by the end for all the nasty fouls. How Thompson did not even get a card for his absurd out of bounds and onto the running track blast is beyond me. Yeah Porto!
It sounded like a great match on the radio. I am bummed about the outcome, but I am looking forward to see the tape (gee, I didn't get the impression that Celtic had any nasty fouls from the BBC Scotland feed, go figure). Congrats to Porto!

Bravely fought by Celtic, but I got the feeling throughout the match that Porto were slightly the better football team. Would have been interesting to see how it would have turned out if John Hartson hadn't been injured though ...
